This Week

•        Prayer – Today the Session of CPC is calling for a special meeting for prayer, during the time that we would ordinarily gather for afternoon worship. We will meet to seek God’s face in prayer, focusing on our need for a facility. Our Lord loves to work greater trust and greater sanctification in us by giving us needs like this. Come together to cast our cares upon Him, knowing that He cares for us.

•        Ladies' Bible Study – We are studying the meaning and wonder of the crucifixion using the book “The Truth of the Cross” by R. C. Sproul. Join us on Wednesdays, at 9:30 am at the church facility. Newcomers are welcome at any time. See Carla Sherrill or Kim Opie for books.

•        Santa Cruz County Bible Study – Every other Thursday night at 7:00 pm at the home of Steve and Heather Miller in Aptos (624 Seacliff Dr.). Join this Thursday, May 30. The study is led by Pastor Walker, currently studying 1 Thessalonians. All are welcome. Invite your friends! Childcare and refreshments provided.

•        South Valley Reformed Bible Study – The Gilroy area Bible study meets every other Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the Walker’s home. Join us next Wednesday, June 5, as we delve into God's Word.

•        Hospitality for General Assembly Commissioners – the General Assembly of the OPC meets in Northern California this June. Several ministers and ruling elders from other parts of the country are interested in joining us for worship on June 9. If you are willing to host one or more men the night of June 8, please email Pastor Robbins.

•        Missionary Presentation at CPC –The Rev. Woody Lauer, one of our OPC missionaries in Japan, will be speaking here at CPC on Friday, June 21 at 7:00 pm. Woody's presentation and slide show will be followed by light refreshments. Mark your calendars and come to hear first-hand about our mission efforts in Japan.
